Areas of Practice

Civil Rights

The majority of my practice is in the areas of civil and constitutional rights litigation, with a focus on employment discrimination. I am particularly interested in First Amendment issues, and in issues arising under the Kentucky Constitution, as well as civil rights issues facing the LGBT community and cancer survivors.

If you feel like you've been discriminated against based on your race, sex, religion, national origin, disability, genetic disorder, gender identity, or sexual orientation, or if you think the government has violated your Constitutional rights, contact me.

Appeals

Another large part of my practice is appellate advocacy. If you have recently lost a case, and you want a higher court to review it, contact me. Here's a video of me arguing before the Kentucky Supreme Court:

Government Benefits

I am currently handling Social Security Disability (SSD and SSI) claims, as well as a lot of unemployment claims. If your benefits have been denied, please get in touch with me. If you don't get in touch with me, get in touch with an attorney. It's hard to go it alone after the first denial.

Everything Else

It's really impossible to sum up everything a lawyer does on a webpage (especially if you're as bad at HTML as I am). If you need legal assistance, get in touch with me. I became a lawyer to help people. If I can't help you, I'll tell you I can't help you, and I'll try to connect you with someone who can.
